After a first edition that attracted more than 10,000 visitors, Sabay Festival will celebrate the Buddhist New Year on April 30 at the Pagoda de Vincennes. Organized by the Evaan Market team, this festive event is a one-day immersion in the Khmer universe with shows and demonstrations of traditional arts, a Buddhist ceremony, an exhibition, street food stands and concerts. This year, Sabay Festival will also honor Laos and Thailand, two countries that celebrate the New Year at the same time as Cambodia.
While the online store www.confirel.fr has been distributing Confirel products in France and Europe for a few months, the company will be the official sponsor of Sabay Festival.
Through this festival, Evaan Market aims to make the link between the Asian diaspora and their cultures, as well as to be able to discover and share the richness of Southeast Asia to all people with an interest in it.
The company, created by a Cambodian born in France, also wishes to participate in the development of Cambodia by making its products known throughout the world. Confirel, which has been pursuing this same ambition since its creation more than 20 years ago, is naturally delighted to contribute to the success of Sabay Festival by bringing the typically Cambodian spicy and sweet flavors of its Kirum and Thnot ranges and wishes in advance happy New Year celebrations to all Cambodians in France and Europe.
